At Beta Upsilon, we love welcoming new Sisters into our chapter. Each fall, we participate in formal recruitment through the University of Rhode Island’s Panhellenic Council, where potential new members get to learn about our values, meet our Sisters, and experience what makes Alpha Xi Delta so special. In the spring, we also hold informal recruitment opportunities, which are a more relaxed way to get to know our chapter and explore membership. Whether through formal or informal recruitment, our goal is always the same: to help women find their home away from home and a Sisterhood that lasts a lifetime.

Since Alpha Xi Delta’s founding in 1893, we continue to enrich the lives of women throughout the world with by emphasizing the ideals our Founders instilled in our Fraternity: Sisterhood, leadership, knowledge and service to our communities. We fully embrace these ideals and the opportunity to bring them to college women.
